The Capable Environments in Practice Pathway is a structured, 12-month programme supporting services across health, social care, and education to:

How the Pathway Works
Each month focuses on one area of Capable Environments, supporting you to move from understanding → application → implementation.
Monthly structure:
Week 1 – Introduction & Resources
- Monthly focus area introduced
- Info pack and tools shared
- Teaching and workshop dates confirmed
Week 2 – Learning & Reflection
- Attend teaching session
- Complete a structured audit of your service
Week 3 – Application Workshop
- Small group workshop (max 6 services)
- Review audit findings
- Identify practical actions
Week 4 – Embedding in Practice
- Receive tailored resources and guidance
- Implement agreed actions
- Build evidence for CQC
